Dr. Rutchanka has been a technician at Leaside Animal Clinic since 2010. She came to us from a fast paced emergency clinic in Michigan. She is a licensed veterinarian in her native Belarus, and now she is now a licensed veterinarian in North America. Natallia enjoys working with patients and clients to ensure the best possible care. She enjoys continuing education to advance her knowledge and skills. In her spare time Natallia is a dedicated lacrosse and hockey mom. This year she has taken on the job of Team Manager of her sons hockey team. She also volunteers at Maurice Cody School. She also competes on a travelling trivia team. She speaks fluent Russian. Natallia shares her home with her cats Goga and Nikita, two birds Hamish and Nino and her fish Eric Jr.
Dr. Munger graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in April 2014. Having been born and raised in Toronto, Dr. Munger was thrilled to accept a position at Leaside Animal Clinic. Dr. Munger has a special interest in nutrition, surgery and preventive medicine. When Dr. Munger isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and traveling as much as possible. Having a Swiss background, she grew up speaking English, Swiss German, and some French. She likes to keep active with a variety of sports, such as volleyball, tennis and skiing.
Dr. Kennedy graduated from the University of Guelph with honours in 1974. She also won an award for her skill in soft tissue surgery. Dr. Kennedy has co-owned Leaside Animal Clinic with Dr. Weintrop since 1980. Dr. Kennedy has a special interest in surgery as well as both preventative and advanced dental procedures. Dr. Kennedy enjoys gardening, photography and jewelery design; she became a certified gemologist in 1983. When not working, Dr. Kennedy can be found working in her beautiful garden and spending time with her two adult children, her cat Lexi,and her dog Drizzie.
Dr. Weintrop graduated from the University of Guelph in 1977. Along with Dr. Kennedy she has co-owned Leaside Animal Clinic since 1980. Dr. Weintrop has a strong interest in wellness and preventative care from initial puppy and kitten visits to senior health and wellness. Dr. Weintrop is a strong advocate of life long learning and continuing education. She frequently consults with specialists to ensure the best possible care for your pet. Dr. Weintrop enjoys traveling and spending time with her 3 adult children, her cat Bandit, and Bear and Cody are her two boisterous dogs.
